Core Values

This is what we practice.

Faithfulness to Biblical Ministry

Peak Bible Church strives to be entirely faithful to Scripture in our ministry. Believing that Scripture is entirely inerrant and sufficient for all of life it is our supreme governing authority for life and ministry. As such, we will do what Scripture commands, flee what it forbids, and diligently consider any aspect of worship not expressly commanded in Scripture to make sure it does not violate biblical principles. (2 Tim 3:16, 2 Pet 1:21, Col 2:8

Internal Unity

One of the continual encouragements we hear in Scripture, particularly in the writings of Paul, is to remain unified as part of the Body of Christ. Members of Peak Bible Church are committed to unity within the church and will prioritize unity over personal preference only dividing where absolutely necessary in following the express commands of Scripture. (1 Cor 1:10, Eph 4:1-6

Expository Preaching

Believing in the inerrancy and authority of Scripture, Peak Bible Church firmly holds that expository preaching is one of the primary ways that the church is to minister to and shepherd the flock. The typical method of delivering sermons will be to move passage by passage through books of the Bible to ensure teaching of the whole counsel of God. (Eph 4:11-12, 2 Tim 4:2, Acts 6:2

Meaningful Membership

There are four aspects to meaningful church membership at Peak Bible Church.
1. Faithful church attendance: In accordance with Scripture, members of Peak Bible Church will not forsake the assembling of ourselves together. (Heb 10:25, Rom 12:6-8)
2. Service: Every believer has been given spiritual gifts that are designed by God to be exercised within the local body of Christ. Members of Peak Bible Church will exercise these gifts for the glory of God and the benefit of the church. (1 Pet 4:10-11, Gal 5:13)
3. Sacrificial giving: As commanded in Scripture members of Peak bible Church will give in a sacrificial manner stewarding their resources to the glory of God and the betterment of His church. (2 Cor 9:7, Luke 6:38, 2 Cor 9:6)
4. Structured Accountability: Members of Peak Bible Church commit to be known by and to know one another. This will be primarily implemented through structured accountability in small groups. For those not able to attend small groups other opportunity will be provided to develop the same kind of relationships the small groups will foster. (Gal 6:1-5, 1 John 1:7

Intentional Evangelism

For the lost to be saved the Gospel must be preached. At Peak Bible Church we strive to equip and encourage members to share the Gospel in their particular work and life context and in the community surrounding them. We are commanded to make disciples and will do our best to carry out this mission. (Matt 28:19-20, Rom 10:13-14

Intentional Discipleship

In obedience to the great commission we must make and teach disciples of Jesus Christ. A primary goal of Peak Bible Church is to disciple believers to function well within the church and to equip them to take the Gospel to others through evangelism, church planting, and missions work. (Matt 28:19-20, 2 Tim 2:2

Global Missions

Peak Bible Church is passionate about the preaching of the Gospel to all people and nations around the world. To that end we desire to support and send missionaries that are equipped to effectively preach the Gospel and begin churches all around the globe. (Rom 10:15, Matt 28:19-20, John 3:16
